God will Come Through for You

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

Are there times in our lives when it is like God is not doing what He should be doing? We all have found ourselves in this place at different times, and wondered if God had forgotten about us. When such times come, what do we do? The first thing to do at such times is to establish deep in you that God is a good God, and that whatever He is doing or allowing to happen at this time is instructed by two things: His wisdom and love. He will not withhold any good thing from those that love Him. So, do you love God? If you do, then be of good cheers because He is working out His purposes in your life, even though you may not understand what He is doing. This disposition is the expression of your faith in God's goodness and wisdom.

The next thing to know is that you have need for patience. Following God,  apart from requiring faith, also requires patience; many people have missed it here, they believe that God is good and all-wise, but they fail to recognize that to benefit from their faith in God, they have to wait patiently. God's timing is different from ours, we want everything to happen now, but not so with God.

The ancient who walked with God understood this truth, so, in addition to believing, they patiently waited for Him. What has not happened now is not an indication of what will not happen in the end; so, have faith, God is at work, even though you can't perceive it now, but you must patiently wait for Him. Just know that in the end, God will come through for you!
