All of the human race have one thing in common, facts of every matter
are perceived with the physical senses. Beyond the fact, the natural man
has no answer, however, those who believe in Christ have the advantage
of faith which sees beyond the facts because it is the evidence of
things not seen. Beyond the fact, faith rules, but those who have no
faith cannot, but be ruled by what they see, which is the fact of the
matter. Faith is the advantage that takes the believer beyond the realm
of facts. Facts are limited to what can be physically verified, but
faith, when in operation, goes beyond the limit of facts.
But what exactly is that advantage of faith? It is the bringing on board the supernatural operations of the invisible God. Those who deny the supernatural subject themselves to the sentence of the limit set by the fact of the matter. There is hope for those who refuse to be subject to the verdicts of the facts of the matter, and the hope that faith brings does not make ashamed. It is a hope that is predicated on the fidelity of God to His word. Go beyond the fact of the matter because there is something beyond the fact that faith bears witness to, it is the omnipotence of God.
