As Christians, it is important to know that we don't live for ourselves (Romans 14:7). God wants us to live for Him. Apart from God, there are several other things contending with our lives. God is the central factor in life and death. To live for God and His Kingdom, we must live in righteousness. The Kingdom is about righteousness. The Kingdom is being made right and doing right. One cannot live in the kingdom and does not walk in peace. This is because Kingdom life is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17).
