God is Always on Time

Then Pharaoh’s daughter went down to the Nile to bathe, and her attendants were walking along the riverbank. She saw the basket among the reeds and sent her female slave to get it. She opened it and saw the baby. He was crying, and she felt sorry for him. “This is one of the Hebrew babies,” she said. Exodus 2:5-6 | NIV

God always shows up at the right time, no matter how things may seem to be. Moses' mother had put him in an ark and placed him in it and lowered it on the water, trusting that God will intervene, and He did. God, in His perfect timing, arranged for pharaoh's daughter to get to the river just as the ark was about to float past. This, God did in order for His purpose for Moses' life to be on course, which was to raise him in the palace of the king of Egypt. This is a regular antecedent of God. He did this for Joseph in the pit and in the prison, and He can do it for you too.

God is a perfect arranger of the timing of things in the life of His people in order to bring them to the place of His purpose for their lives, and He sometimes uses unsavoury events to accomplish this. You may at this time be experiencing some difficulties and wondering what God may be doing. He is in charge of both the time and timing of what is happening to you, and He will work all things together for your good, only just trust Him. But it is always in the time that He appoints.
