God is not on Vacation

"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Romans 8:28

There are times when we are overwhelmed by the events happening in our lives and we ask, where is God? In the present global health crisis, called the coronavirus pandemic, some people may be asking the same question, where is God? God is not on a journey, neither is He on vacation. In the words of Jesus Christ in John 5:17, He said, "...My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I too am working." Sometimes, we tend to think that God is trying to catch up with the challenges of our lives and time, but that is not true, God is always on top of whatever He sovereignly allows.

Am not sure where you are at now, and the challenges that you may be confronted by, but remember that God has promised that He will never leave nor forsake those who put their trust in Him. He is, behind the scene, working in ways we may not comprehend. Joseph's experience readily comes to mind. Taken from the comfort of his father's house and sold into slavery in Egypt, and, then, unjustly cast into prison. None of these would have made any sense to a young man who feared and trusted God, but, you know something, God was not on vacation, He was on top of the matter of Joseph's life, even before it happened, working everything together for good for Joseph. God had the bigger picture in view in everything that He allows to happen in Joseph's life. And when He was done, what He was doing behind the scene became visible for all to see.

Hold on, be patient, God has not abandoned you, nor has He forgotten about you, He is at work, though it may be in ways you can't see now, only, trust Him. Like He did for Joseph, He will show up for you too, but it will be in His own way and time. God bless you as you wait for Him.
