But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.” Acts 23:11
In this passage, a prophetic word was given to Paul about speaking for the Lord in Rome as he had done in Jerusalem, and from that time on, God began to orchestrate the events in Paul's life that brought him to Rome. This began with his earlier desire to be in Jerusalem, leading to his arrest by the Jews in the temple in Jerusalem in their attempt to kill him, to his trials under two separate Roman governors, culminating in his appeal to be judged by Rome, and in the process of being taken to Rome, there was a shipwreck that threatened the lives of 267 people on the ship. After the shipwreck, a serpent tried to poison him, but it came to nothing, and finally, he was brought to Rome where the prophecy was fulfilled.
I don't know what God has spoken to you, it may seem at the present time as if God is not anywhere near you because of the things happening to you, but like Paul, God is working out His purposes, only, He is doing it in ways that are strange to you. Be patient, and steadfast, and you will see the end appointed by God unfold in His own way. Sometimes, the path to prophetic fulfillment can be very rough, but it always leads up to the appointed destination and destiny. So, hold on, and wait for God because He will show up in His own time. God bless you.
