Faith Wins

"For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4

Unbelief will cause us to judge God by our circumstances, rather than judging our circumstances by God. The presence of circumstances does not diminish the power of God, rather, the presence of God diminishes, to zero level, the power of circumstances. However, what we give prominence, God or the circumstance, will eventually rule the day. The prominence of one is the silence of the other.

When faith takes hold of the presence of God, His power will be manifest, but when fear is allowed, in the presence of the circumstances, defeat is imminent. In the face of unbelief, the fact of the presence of God fizzles out, and faith takes the back seat, leaving us powerless. To put it in its truest sense, unbelief shuts out God, but faith does the exact opposite, it brings God on board. Nothing supernatural happens until faith is demonstrated. Faith is the victory that overcomes the world.
