Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.” Matthew 20:18-20
It
is interesting to see how on every occasion that Jesus presented His
passion to His disciples, that He ended it on the note of victory, by
pointing them also to His resurrection. So, though He told them of His
crucifixion, He also gave them hope in the resurrection. When Jesus is
involved in any event of our lives, no matter how it may appear to be,
we can look at the resurrection story and be encouraged. The end result
of anything that Jesus is involved in is always victory. It is victory,
no matter what it may seem to be.
I
am not sure what your exact challenge may be, but I will like to call
your attention to the resurrection story, and to say to you that the
third day is on the way. Every believer that gives up, failed to see
this truth, that the third day is approaching. So hold on, if Jesus is
in the boat with you, the storm will soon be over. How wonderful to know
that the stories of Jesus always end in hope. The One who raised Him
from the dead, will also bring you through that dark tunnel, though you
walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you need not be
overwhelmed because He is always at hand to take you through.
