Then Moses said to him, "If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here. Exodus 33:15
Have you begun to think of a theme for 2020? Don't go for catchy slogans, just determine that you will not take one step unless the Lord guides you, and you have the assurance that He will go with you. Every slogan, without the assurance that God is on board whatever or wherever you head, will be, to say the least, futile.
Moses was wise, he knew that everything without the presence of God was a recipe for defeat. So, he made up his mind that if there was no assurance of God's presence, no step was to be taken. Like Moses, determine that 2020 will be a year of stepping out with God. This is victory guaranteed. Whatever theme you adopt for this coming year, remember this, only as God goes with you can there be a fulfilment of those things you desire. For this reason, like Moses, determine this, 'not a step without God'. The same was what Christ attributed the success of His life and ministry to. What He saw His Father do, He did, what He heard His Father say, He said. He took no step without God.
On this note, I wish you a momentous 2020 as you engage with God in every step of the way.
