"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee." Deuteronomy 31:6
Wherever God leads you to, He will go with you. What He said to Israel, He says to us, He will go with us.
"And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed." Deuteronomy 31:8
Has God called you to an assignment? He will go before you; He will be with you; He will not fail you, He will not forsake you. For these reasons, you need not fear, nor be dismayed. Only just believe. This is what translates promise into reality. The opposing forces are not imaginary, they are real, but the reality of God is more real than all the opposing forces.
Truly, there were giants occupying the land promised, but what are giants compared to God who was going before them. The implication of God going before them was that the giants would meet with God before they got to the Israelites. So, has God sent you? Then know that He has also gone before you, therefore, you need not fear. This is the wisdom in the admonition to fear not.
