No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind.
And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can
bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that
you can ENDURE it. 1 Co. 10:13
Trials
will come as we follow God, but when they come, notice that the way God
provides is not to help us escape the temptation, even though this is
what we want Him to do, but rather, what He does is to provide a way to
help us endure it. When we are looking for a way of escape from
temptation, we may be looking for something that God has not provided
grace for.
Temptations (trials) will come, we
can't avoid them, yet, when they come, God gives us grace to endure
them. Unfortunately, the theme of endurance has become an old fashioned,
and forgotten doctrine, yet, it is one that we can't avoid when
following God. Truth is that things will happen that we will not be able
to escape, therefore, we will learn to endure without murmuring.
