Adam ceded the kingdom kept in his care to satan, and he, satan, established his own kingdom over the human race. Genesis 3:15 is the first indication of God's plan to retake the kingdom from satan, and it was going to be through the seed of the woman. To Abraham, God made the promise of a seed through whom He was going to bless the world. Further down time, He made a promise to David that He was going to make one of his sons to seat on the throne of the kingdom forever. Israel became a chosen nation through which God was going to fulfill the promise made to Abraham. The fulfillment of this promise will be the demise of satan's usurped kingdom.
In the scheme of satan, since God has proposed to defeat him and restore the kingdom to the Son of David, the destruction of the nation and people of Israel will be a smart move because without a nation called Israel and its people, God's plan will not be fulfilled. Through the ages, satan has instigated kings and rulers in the earth to plot the destruction of the Jewish people. Pharaoh, in Egypt, attempted extinguishing the male gender of the Israelites, but failed. Haman tried the same without success. Then came Hitler, as he sought to annihilate the entire Jewish population in the world, yet, failed. The next major effort to accomplish this plan will be during the reign of the Antichrist when 2/3 of Jews will be killed, and by an act of divine intervention, one third will be saved.

The "hate Israel" drive is taking hold of American political new comers. It won't be long, and Israel will be finally isolated, with no friend in the world. We are watching the fulfillment of ancient prophecies of the end times unfolding right before our eyes. Sooner than anyone can expect, America will join the nations of the world calling for the annihilation of Israel. Prophecy watchers are observing this gradual, but progressive shift. The stage is gradually being made ready for Zacheriah's and Ezekiel's prophecies of the gathering of the nations against Israel.
The role of the church is to support Israel in whatever form it can until such a time when the church is taken out of the world. We owe this to Israel because according to the apostle Paul, "For if the Gentiles have shared in the Jews' spiritual blessings, they owe it to the Jews to share with them their material blessings." Romans 15:27. It's a duty that we owe them, moreso, as we see the growing surge of antisemitism in the world, and we do well to repay them by acts of kindness. Pray for Israel! That's the least any of us can do. God bless Israel and all who love them.
