One Thing is Missing

You may be born with silver spoon in your mouth or with blue blood running in your veins. You may have everything befitting a rich man's child. You may not lack anything. You may have the best education and only read poverty in the book, your beauty may be spoken of all over the place, and you might have ever won an international beauty contest. You cannot think of anything that money can buy that you lack. It is possible for you to have local, national and international connections and people may fear and respect you. My friend, with all these belonging to you, ONE THING IS STILL MISSING. Think of a man without a brain and a tree without a root. That is life without Jesus—He may just be the missing link in your life!

Can you answer this question: "For what is man profited, if he gains whole world and loses his soul?" (Matthew 16:26). Can you think of a world without sun? Without Christ in your life whatever you have is useless. Christ is the missing link in your life. An airplane without a compass is directionless and it cannot have a safe landing. Without Christ in you, you can't live a meaningful and purposeful life! Still in doubt? Listen to what Jesus says in John 15:4-5, "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit itself except it abides in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in Me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in Me, and in him the same bringeth forth much fruit; for without Me, ye can do nothing."

Christ is the only bridge that can lead you back to God and make your now and hereafter meaningful. He is the man that can save you from eternal damnation. Ask Him to wash your sin away today. You must know what salvation is not a church doctrine but an important part of God's plan for your life.
