Whosoever Believes shall be Saved

Salvation is free, the Son of God paid for us to be forgiven by shedding His blood on the cross. There's nothing we can add to what He did on the cross to make it better, the only thing required of us is simply to agree with God that the sacrifice of His only begotten Son is sufficient to procure forgiveness for our sins. It is this agreement that is sometimes called faith, which is trust in what God has done for us in Christ. This trust is what makes the death of Jesus Christ on the cross our personal benefit. Those who deny the sufficiency of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ cannot benefit from it.

Have you agreed with God, trusting that the blood of His Son is sufficient to bring you forgiveness? The bible says that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. This is how simple it is to be saved and enter into the kingdom of God. Nothing more is required, indeed, there's nothing that a sinner can do to contribute to his salvation. Christ single-handedly finished the work required for salvation by His death on the cross.

Today, as you read this article, you can be saved from the condemnation that sin brings by confessing with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Don't put it off for another day because today, according to the bible, is the day of salvation. God bless you as you say this prayer: heavenly Father, I believe that You raised Jesus Christ from the dead, and I confess that He is the Lord. Thanks for saving me.
