"And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you." Matthew 28:7
"Good quickly, and tell... that He is risen." No greater news has ever
been announced, and no greater comfort ever presented to a lost world
than this: He is risen from the dead. This marked the end of the tyranny
of death and the slavery to sin. Out of death came life. Praise God!
It is to heralding of this great news that all believers are called. Everyone who has expressed faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ has a personal story to tell to this effect, that once I was dead, but now I am alive; once I was lost, but now I am found. And all of this because He rose from the dead.
But there is an enemy of the souls of men whose greatest endeavour is to blind sinners to the glorious light of this good news, he must be bound, and in faith, set free those that he has enslaved to sin and the fear of death. Our message is not different from that which that Angel of God commanded Mary Magdalene and others with her: go quickly, and tell... that He is risen from the dead.
What an honour and privilege to be sent on an errand that God could have perfectly done without us, yet, He chose to involve us. We are carriers of the greatest message that humanity can ever receive, therefore, we must not make light of it.

"And they departed quickly from the sepulcher with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word." Matthew 28:8
The women ran to bring the great news to the disciples. The same is required of us, there is an urgency in the message that makes it necessary for the bearers to run with it. May we run as the women ran.
"And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them..." Matthew 28:9
As we go with this message, we can be assured that Jesus will meet us as He met the women. Amazing!
