It would have been a joke, just a few months ago, to imagine that a time
will come in the world when virtually all the people of the world will
be in a lockdown as is the case today. We are leaving in a new world,
whether or not you like to admit it, life here will never be the same
again. But the Big Question is, what does each person come out of this
time with?
Have you learned that things can change overnight, and that nothing is predictable anymore? Just as this virus caught the world unawares, so the coming world events will be. Jesus said that the day of His return will be like that, people will be buying and selling, getting married, eating and drinking, and doing all the things that we do because we are alive, then it will happen! Unannounced, He will come and take those who are eagerly awaiting His return. "So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation." Hebrews 9:28
Are you looking for Him? And are you aware that Christ's coming will happen someday? It happened like this in the day of Noah and Lot, it was business as usual, then sudden destruction came upon the unprepared. But Noah and his family escaped; Lot and his children escaped. If this global lockdown has left lesson worth learning, it is that the world has changed in very remarkable ways and we must not live our lives in a 'business as usual' manner. God bless you.
