Different religions have different things to say about someone they call Jesus, but there's only one Jesus who can save the sinner from his sin and deliver him from the wrath of God. But who is this Jesus who alone can save? He was born of the virgin, but faith in the virgin birth does not save, even though the Jesus that saves was born of a virgin. Jesus was a worker of miracles, yet, believing this truth cannot save from sin. Among the three offices of Jesus Christ is the prophet's office, but believing that He was a prophet does not save anyone from his sin.
The Jesus that saves is the One who is the Son of God that was crucified, buried, and resurrected from the dead. This is the Jesus that the bible presents to us, and it is faith in Him that saves. To believe in any Jesus that is not the Son of God that was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead, is to believe in a Jesus that cannot save.
So, which Jesus have you believed in? The bible says that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
